Namibian Activist School 2026

Navigating spaces with Namibian youth is a profound blessing—a shared journey of affirming lived realities and sparking transformative change.

The Namibian Activists School granted me the honored of delivering dynamic sessions and facilitating discussions that elevated key themes: civic engagement in governance, bold policy reform, and strategic leadership for marginalized voices.

Through these interactions, we held space for authentic stories, built collective resilience, and envisioned a more just Namibia.

I am deeply thankful for this opportunity to contribute to the next generation of activists, fostering hope and agency in our shared pursuit of equity and progress.

The Ancestors

Constant signs. Constant directions. No room for later.

My blood is impatient.

I am navigating a world that demands my logic,

while serving a spirit that demands my soul.

It is an exhausting, beautiful, holy friction.

I am a citizen of the seen and the unseen,

Keeping my balance while the drums in my chest

drown out the noise of the street.

Whispers Across the Dunes

In quiet shadowed dunes where secrets hide,

Our love runs deep—

Like a hidden river cutting through the heart.

Distance wraps us in soft evening light,

But our hearts stay connected,

Fearless fire lighting up the empty spaces.

No fear of going our own ways,

We stand against the hurt life brings to those we love.

Let’s go into this mystery, my dearest—our joy lives on forever.

The Mirror of the Mind

The reflection of consciousness,

A pinch from within…

An unapologetic form of expression,

The reality that finally settles in.

The mirror of the mind ignites thought,

Connecting logic to the heat of emotion.

Emotions that trigger deep-seated feelings,

Turning quiet wonder into a piercing question.

A question that unearths a jagged reality,

Leaving you to long, leaving you to wish.

Yet, this mirror remains an inner reflection—

A light only you can direct.

You hold the power to make it right,

Or leave the image as it is.

Fear the emotion no longer;

Run no more from the weight of the feeling.

Face the reflection with steady eyes,

For the mirror of self requires only healing.

I am me because with you, we are a force.

My Morning Ritual for renewal

I wake at 04:30, lying still for 10 minute gently emerging from sleep, affirming my morning with quiet intention.

I rise, light the incense, and step into the shower, where water aligns my body, mind, and soul.

Gratitude flows as I repeat thanks for life itself, for the gift of another dawn.

Only then do I step outside to feed the birds, amplifying my prayer and centering my spirit for 10-15 minutes.

I stretch my body and work out to strengthen my physique, clearing space for what lies ahead

I am profoundly thankful to have sustained this ritual for years.
