She Is That Woman

The amplification of women,

The trigger of discomfort.

 

As a woman’s power rises amid those who seek to invalidate her,
She claims her space.
The echo of the drumbeat illuminates her.

 

She rises,
For her reality does not define her lived experience.
She feels the inner spirit and energy
That fuel her being.

 

The spirit that reminds her of what she is made of,
As her craft shapes the narrative she seeks to create.

 

The obstacles and challenges within and beyond
Are a manifestation of her commitment,
The very commitment that steers the change
She seeks to impart.

 

The amplification of women,
The trigger of discomfort.

 

She speaks, and her voice raises eyebrows.
She walks, and her steps pave a new direction.

 

She breathes, and the air fills her with serenity.
She touches, and her warmth fuels inspiration.
