I am naked... I bare my soul- openly to that which you say is mine.
Hearts linger and anticipate the synchronized echo of our blood flowing from ventricle to ventricle
I am naked with vulnerability
I am naked by default of my presence, as those eyes undress me
As I journey through life the stops and crossroads I pass by .Undress my being as I seek to find my direction yet my vulnerability betrays me
It exposes me to a world unkind.untrue to me. A world that takes pride in knocking me down
I stand naked before you. I stand naked before you. And yet you choose to cover those edges and curves You don't approve of
I stand naked with you and still you choose to stayed clothed
You choose to hide that which is most vulnerable about you
And you have the nerve to say I'm not open.
Yet you grind your teeth at my nakedness
I choose to no longer be naked. As this nakedness made me realise my vulnerability, As it has made me see my bare soul. A soul only i can cloth. Naked I am no more.

I am Me
As we celebrate our Humanity
The layers I need to unveil comes with so much weight
Yet disregarded
As I celebrate the air in my body
My heart beat stimulated by the concessions of life
As I stand here in front of you
The checks and balances made to define the person that I am scares me as no one asked me who I am
The classification of not succumbing to following the norm has brought me in trouble
Trouble define by those who chose to define the me that I am
I cannot be confined to these rules
As these rules imprisons me
The chains striped all over my body makes me wanna scream
And as I scream I can hear my voice but don’t
I want to be free
I want to feel the real
I want to hear my voice
I want to nurture all of me
As we celebrate our humanity
The layers I need to unveil are scarred by those barriers that brings injustice to my body, mind and soul.
Do you know who I am?
I am just that little girl who wants her voice to be heard
As I celebrate our diversity with the wave of the rainbow and the sparkle our uniqueness
I – I am M

The Gift
When you love someone, truly love them, you lay your heart open to them. You give them a part of yourself that you give to no one else, and you let them inside a part of you that only they can hurt-you literally hand them the razor with a map of where to cut deepest and most painfully on your heart and soul. And when they do strike, it’s crippling-like having your heart carved out, like having the air in your lungs escape, struggling to breath, suffocating.
Falling in love can be like stepping on loose rocks and falling of a cliff, regardless of any barriers you may have built. It comes in silently like mist and settles beautifully over your life
We tend to fall in love with people before we have fully gotten to know them...but love requires utmost vulnerability and trust.... love is elastic it stretches and retracts and constantly changes.
But love, love is a gift...
A gift that comes in different shapes and sizes, a gift that teaches and hurts at the same time, a gift meant to be felt and lived.
When you love someone you share that gift by default

Twists
My body twists and turns.. my body heats up and cools down at the utter of your name..
Your interest in my inner soul no longer remain a priority
Privacy settings chain the essence of my heart...
Many times I look and see darkness but your light I refuse to follow- I refuse to give you reason to feel your light will warm me
Hit my head I will- once maybe even 3 times.
Lose my mind I might - but to wonder into your clueless dungeon I reject..
Out In the cold my heart I put away as to not freeze it to standstill
Gathering my thoughts on how best my life suits me
Guiding myself through storms and hurricane
I will bruise, I will bleed, I will fall sick but never will I break down..mediocre my vocabulary disowns- my cognitive suggests strength and self love- all of which I place neatly beside my heart.. watching it absorb and retain...
Yes I got pick up and tossed down I got up and wiped the dust out my eyes... grey I see no more.. back and white coloured in and sharpened - I see clear, I plan to conquer this mountain I have climbed.. I plan to see it through
So that when I hear u speak I can jump with no safety net and know I will land on my feet- your life line I let go of and smile as u try and catch me... I will land on my feet I, will be unharmed - the umbilical cord cut- puppet strings ripped and harness untied.

Africa Day
As i celebrate, commemorate and reflect on this day " Africa Day"..
I carry alot of gratitude to where I come... the stages of life where mom had to keep the house going with no means yet also had to make sure food and school needs are in place..
I remember the tear gas cans thrown all over my township owambolokasie and surely all over.. I remember growth and changes taking place within our community as children were able to play on the streets freely..
Today I magnify many experiences as lessons learned for these better days of being able to participate and represent who we are as Namibians thus I brace my Pan Aficanism at all levels with a consciousness of all the evil issues we are experiencing that is clearly fuelled my our political environments who carry a doctrine of patriarchy yet the evolution of life have not taught many a lesson that alot of revolutions have been achieved with and by characters and collectives who believed in equality and non discrimination. .
I am yet to witness many more triumph crafted and shaped by Africans for Africans... This tatoo on my body reminds and magnifies alot within me and what I believe in...

Gratitude
Today you have crossed my mind with great compassion and warmth...
Today I maginfy lessons learned and growth experienced
Today I lift my head with great strength
Today I walk with my fist in the air as the power within has gracefully synchronised the unknown
Today I walk with you a path I never thought shall arise
Today I carry lots of gratitude as all suffices within the will of the universe...
I am who I am today because of YOU...

Today I yern for a tomorrow that withhold all chains that barred my movements
Today I lift my head with great strength

The Error
As I accept my GREATEST mistake..
A toil of error tarnished so much within me..
A feeling of helpless hope of making it right as the ache caused inflicted so much within the other that bears no room for reconnection..
A reconnection that is barred by an irresponsible act that was not conscious..
The reflection of my act and interactions of empathy is core as I bleed in shame...
Shame that brings withdrawal as I shy away to recoup my inner being. ..
As I accept my GREATEST mistake..
My inner soul has grown to strength as I carry regret yet also have it all fade within the universe as it shall subside with time...

As TIME pass BY...
As time passes by
I look back And wonder what my world has become
A world only I know is perfect to me
Yet the only thing I know is surrounded by the beauty of LOVE
As love is all I know
My space is perfumed with strawberries as the smell sooths my inner being
As time passes by
I realize that this perfect world,
Yes this perfect world I claim to live in that holds so much of me
And crowds me in so many ways
That all I see is a blurred view with clear images in my mind
This mind that at times fights with my little heart- as my little fist of a heart cries to be culminated with that warmth of just wanting to be.
I have come so far
I loved and experienced life
I have chosen to rise as the growth within does not stop me from forever feeling the joys and gratitude of life
The feeling not shying away from what passes by and what has passed by before
Those are the beauties of life as life has never done wrong unto me
I chose to live without the limits before me
I sit back and remember
As time passes by!!!

We both Know
I knew
You knew
We both know
I see ...
We see
You saw
Why shy
What should
When it can't
Go away
Fade on
Blur me through
The clear thoughts
That I know
You know
We both knew
I am ME!!!
